The Man With Two Brains — drunk test is hard

“The Man With Two Brains” (1983) starring Steve Martin and Kathleen Turner. In this very funny scene, Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr (Steve Martin) is driving his dead wife, Dolores Benedict (Kathleen Turner), to a castle in order to swap her brain for the brain-in-a-jar of the woman he now loves (watch the movie, it sorta makes sense). During his frantic driving, the police stop the doctor for speeding. The drunk test turns out to be quite hard. “Dead? My God! I better get her to a cemetery right away.”

Today marks the 1 yr anniversary of animating! To show my improvement, here is the first episode of Hirari Genesis! I hope you enjoy ;D ===EPISODE SUMMARY=== The story opens to a girl looking out the window on a rainy day. The mood reminds her of the past compared to the struggles she currently has to face. 13 years ago, a 6 year-old, wealthy girl named Roselyn walks with Matt (her best friend) to his house after school. She tells the story of a Queen named Cygnus who guards all the supernatural powers given to lucky individuals on Earth. Cygnus is also the only God with a physical appearance in the human world and her power is carried through a single person every century. In Matt’s room, Matt shows Roselyn a diagram of a claw that he wishes to use in training when he’s old enough. He asks Roselyn if she has decided on what she wants to master when she grows up. Being an only child with protective parents, Roselyn knows very well that her parents will decide for her. More than anything, Roselyn wishes to leave her overprotected life. Moments later, Roselyn’s bodyguard arrives to pick her up. Later that afternoon, Roselyn was scheduled for a theatre performance and her parents hurriedly rushed her there. While driving, a drunk driver tailgates with their car, and then dangerously passes them while pushing Roselyn and her parents off road. Unconsciously, Roselyn saves them by safely stopping the car with her hidden wind powers. Roselyn’s parents start a serious argument

Rhode Island Personal Injury Attorney Says State?s Rate of Traffic Fatalities Shows Need for Stricter Laws and Enforcement

Rhode Island Personal Injury Attorney Says State’s Rate of Traffic Fatalities Shows Need for Stricter Laws and Enforcement

Providence, RI (PRWEB) August 15, 2011

Providence personal injury attorney Mark Gemma today said that the most federal statistics show traffic fatalities have increased in Rhode Island while decreasing in much of the rest of the nation, demonstrating the need for stricter laws and law enforcement in the Ocean State.

“Out of our nation’s 50 states, we are one of only eight that had any increase in traffic fatalities in the study’ timespan and, with an increase of 28 percent, Rhode Island was one of only four states with an increase of more than 5 percent,” said Gemma of the Rhode Island personal injury law firm, Gemma Law Associates, Inc. “To be that far off of the norm indicates clearly that the state must get more serious about how it deals with reckless and negligent drivers.”

Gemma referred to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration study that said most of the country saw traffic fatality numbers decrease from 2008 to 2009. Rhode Island’s increase in fatalities was second only to North Dakota, which had a 35 percent jump in deaths due to vehicle accidents.

Rhode Island safe-driving advocate Robin Foote said in a recently published article about the NHTSA statistics that the state’s lack of a strong seat belt law, lax enforcement of existing traffic laws and mild penalties for repeated traffic offenses have contributed to the danger on the state’s highways.

“We at Gemma Law Associates are pleased that Gov. Lincoln Chafee and the legislature this past June made Rhode Island the 31st state to have a primary seat belt law, allowing police to stop drivers who aren’t wearing seatbelts,” Gemma said. “We are less pleased by the decision to ‘sunset’ the law in 2013.”

Gemma said that anyone involved in an automotive crash must act quickly to protect their legal rights, which may include compensation for their losses if the other driver is at fault. If a person in a wreck dies because of his or her injuries, his or her survivors may have the right to pursue a wrongful death claim.

“A person hurt in a car wreck in Rhode Island needs to seek the assistance of a skilled and experienced car accident attorney,” Gemma said. “A car crash is not necessarily an accident. If such an incident is caused by a reckless or negligent driver, there is cause for the victim to be compensated for the losses they’ve suffered. That includes medical bills, damage to their vehicle and being out of work as well as their pain and suffering.

“The other thing accident victims need to keep in mind,” Gemma continued, “is that the insurance company is not your friend. They will try to get you to settle for as little money as possible.

“At Gemma Law Associates, will are advocates, making sure car accident victims get what they deserve, whether by negotiating a proper settlement or by standing firmly beside our clients in court.”
